INSA has discussed on the draft proclamation on digital signature with stakeholders

The motive of the draft proclamation is to smooth the progress of electronic trade and services and to fill the gap observed in the existing laws pertaining to the issue.

The law is believed to facilitate the effort of securing the financial transactions, said the delegates from the financial and insurance institutions.

It was stated in the discussion that the Digital Signature is instrumental in data authentication, integrity, confidentiality and non repudiation. Accordingly, the crypto infrastructure (PKI) and  the law pertaining to regulate  issues related to the  digital signature is helpful.

The Agency made it clear that the discussion on the draft document will continue with other stakeholders in the near future.
