The Service Provided to Private Companies is not a Policy Change

Starting to giving the Internet Service to Private Companies is not changed the policy, said Ethio-telecom. CEO of Ethio-Telecom, Dr. Andualem Admassie told Fana Broadcasting Corporation that various companies have contracted to access the internet service to customers. As he said, the Private Companies who have agreed to buy the service from Ethio-Telecom will provide to the final beneficiary but are not the capable of owning any of the infrastructures. In addition to that, if it is intended to give the Internet access to the next level is not as a sign of Privatization.

Currently, eight companies have entered into the Internet service, some of whom have already begun their Activities.
